I remembered liking The Butterfly Effect a lot more when I first watched it compared to when I watched is most recently. A lot of that is because I was younger and I hadn't yet been able to identify tropes as tropes, and wasn't incredibly attentive to certain things. Likewise, too, I believe there is a trick of the mind that can happen when you watch a film you have no expectations for and it turns out to surpass your expectation.
Other films I remember liking a lot, but haven't revisited out of fear they will be bad / not as good as I remembered, include The Alphabet Killer and Boy Wonder. Someday I will let you know on that.
