Game of Thrones Vs. A Song of Ice and Fire

Have you watched Game of Thrones and read A Song of Ice and Fire? How do you compare the TV series with the book series? Do you think David Benioff and D B Weiss did justice to George R R Martin?
I have not read the book but I really liked the TV show.

I haven't had the chance to watch the sequel series yet, but I liked Game of Thrones for the most part (I am admittedly among the group of people who took issue with the last season, however).
