The Continental: From the World of John Wick

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

I'm up for it. Hopefully the "3-part event" means it will be a bit of concise storytelling, and not a formulaic, episodic format (where storylines are dragged out and filler is abundant).

 

[Iroquois]

Very cool. I hope it does well. It would be nice if they could introduce some new assassins that actually play off each other. I actually thought the mute-girl (Ruby Rose) from John Wick 2 could have been a cool standalone character - Rose is a type that doesn't have a lot of acting chops, per se, but I think could be a good template-esque actress for an action movie (kind of like Keanu Reeves is).

I'd love for it to be sort of overlapping storytelling where it's three different character's viewpoints all coalescing into the final episode.

I wonder what the choreography will look like for it. Will it be a combustible type like Wick, or a more grounded type like, say, the TV Daredevil? If it was anything like that movie Raid: Redemption, that could be sick as well.
